SmartAcre Gives Back with a “Day of Service”

SmartAcre launched its first annual “Day of Service” on December 9, 2022. SmartAcres across five states donated time to give back to local communities during this holiday season.

The SmartAcre team volunteered at the Lehigh Valley Humane Society, Bread of Life Malden, Free Store Wilkinsburg, Kentucky Harvest, Capitol Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia & the Eastern Shore, and Catskill Animal Sanctuary, participating in activities ranging from walking dogs to emceeing trivia to delivering food and care kits to stocking and organizing supplies.

“Because of the time donated today, SmartAcre helped feed over 80 Oklahoma residents that struggle with food insecurity,” said Tracie Lowmiller, an Account Manager at SmartAcre, who spent her time during the day of service at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.

SmartAcre’s Day of Service was the culmination of a year of caring. In 2022, SmartAcre also was fortunate to give to the Cancer Support Community through a sponsorship of the Party for Poppa K Golf Tournament, donate to the ALS Foundation and the Animal Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley, and send well wishes and notes of encouragement to sick and recovering patients through Cardz for Kidz.
